CVE-2021-22510Network attack vector

Browser script execution via unescaped validation response

Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Reflected XSS in OpenText Application Automation Tools Plugin 6.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. A form-validation response inserts attacker-controlled input without escaping, returning executable markup to the requesting browser. Exploitation requires user interaction and is blocked by Jenkins 2.275 or LTS 2.263.2 and later hardening; impact is limited to the victim's browser context.
