Unauthenticated critical data modification and partial disclosure
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
An undisclosed flaw in Oracle Outside In Technology 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to modify critical data and read a subset via HTTP. Oracle identifies Outside In Filters but has not published the faulty routine, input format, or operation performed on untrusted content. Exposure requires an integrating application to pass network-received data directly to the SDK; successful exploitation permits data creation, deletion, modification, and partial disclosure.
