Stack overflow in Huawei EMUI 8.0, 8.2, 9.1.0, and 10.0.0 allows remote attackers to reset affected smartphones. Huawei's bulletin does not identify the affected component, the input that overruns the stack buffer, or the operation that mishandles it. The published network vector requires neither privileges nor user interaction, and the documented consequence is a device reset.
