Denial of service in affected Huawei CloudEngine 5800, 6800, 7800, and 12800 switches allows remote attackers to interrupt service. An affected module cannot correctly process a large volume of specific messages because of an undisclosed design weakness, disrupting its normal functionality. An unauthenticated attacker with adjacent-network access must deliver the message flood; Huawei has not identified the module or characterized the interruption as a hang, crash, or restart.
