Service interruption via concurrent database operations
Published Jun 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Race condition in the database of Huawei eCNS280_TD V100R005C00 and V100R005C10 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. A timing window permits a second thread to operate the database while another database operation is still in progress, leaving shared state improperly synchronized. Access to the affected network and low privileges are required; successful exploitation makes the device behave abnormally, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
