CVE-2021-22338Network attack vector

Unauthenticated module interruption via XXE processing

Published Jun 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

XXE injection in Huawei eCNS280 V100R005C00 and V100R005C10 allows remote attackers to interrupt a module via a crafted XML message. An undisclosed module fails to apply strict processing to the input XML message; Huawei does not identify the parser or exact validation error. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to interruption of that module.
