Unauthenticated service interruption via crafted messages
Published Mar 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Denial of service in Huawei IPS Module, NGFW Module, NIP, and Secospace USG products allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The affected module mishandles crafted messages, but Huawei has not disclosed the module, message type, or precise failure operation. Exploitation requires network reachability to the affected module and causes an availability-only service interruption without reported data exposure or modification.
