Unauthenticated file access via Connected Services Gateway
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Missing authentication in ABB RobotWare 7 before 7.3.2 allows remote attackers to read and modify controller files over Ethernet. The Connected Services Gateway wired interface accepts file operations without authenticating the requester; ABB has not identified a narrower code locus. Exploitation requires network access to the DSQC1041 Ethernet port; Wi-Fi and mobile gateway variants are not affected.
