Unauthenticated pipeline information disclosure via authorization failure
Published Aug 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authorization in GitLab CE/EE allows remote attackers to view restricted pipeline information in public projects. The pipelines page returns some pipeline details without enforcing the project's members-only pipeline visibility restriction; GitLab has not published the responsible code locus. Exploitation requires a public project with pipeline access restricted to project members, and the reported consequence is read-only disclosure of pipeline information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>=13.12, <13.12.9
- Affected versionversion=>=14.0, <14.0.7
