CVE-2021-22190Network attack vector

JWT token disclosure via encoded path traversal

Published Apr 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Path traversal in affected GitLab Workhorse releases allows remote authenticated users to disclose a JWT token via crafted URLs. Workhorse improperly handles hex-encoded URL input, but GitLab has not published the affected function or request path. A valid low-privilege account and network access are required; the grounded consequence is disclosure of the Workhorse JWT token.
