Sensitive data exposure via unredacted server logs
Published Mar 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in GitLab 12.8+ affected releases allows local users with server-log access to view sensitive data that was not redacted. The vulnerable logging paths write sensitive values without applying the intended redaction before emitting server log entries. Access to the server logs is required, and the reported consequence is confidentiality loss without integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
