CVE-2021-22175Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated internal file disclosure via CI linting

Published Jun 11, 2021 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

SSRF in GitLab 10.5 through 13.6.6, 13.7 through 13.7.6, and 13.8 through 13.8.3 allows remote attackers to read internal YAML files. The unauthenticated CI Lint API resolves an attacker-supplied remote include, fetches that URL from the server, and returns valid YAML through merged_yaml. Internal-file access requires the administrator-controlled local-network request setting; otherwise, the endpoint can still expose the server's origin address or probe remote ports.
