CVE-2021-22115Network attack vector

Service-broker credential disclosure via plaintext database logging

Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Credential exposure in Cloud Foundry API (CAPI) before 1.106.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain service-broker passwords. When nondefault database logging is enabled, the orphan-cleanup job causes the CAPI database to record the service-broker password in plaintext. Access to the affected database logs is required; the exposed credential permits unauthorized access to the associated service broker.
