CVE-2021-22100Network attack vector

App-management outage via unbounded broker requests

Published Mar 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Denial of service in Cloud Foundry CAPI before 1.122.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt app management via a service broker. Cloud Controller does not bound concurrent broker requests, so a broker that stalls responses exhausts request handling until CC instances time out and fail. Developer access and control of a pushed service broker are required, and successful exploitation prevents platform users from pushing or managing apps.
