Unauthenticated API access in VMware vCenter Server Content Library allows remote attackers to manipulate VM network settings over port 443. VMware has not disclosed the endpoint, handler, or missing authorization operation that lets untrusted API requests change those settings. Network reachability to the vCenter HTTPS service is sufficient; the documented consequence is unauthorized VM network reconfiguration, not guest code execution.
