Unauthenticated internal service access via Host header
Published Aug 31, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authentication in VMware Workspace ONE Access and Identity Manager allows remote attackers to reach restricted /cfg services. A crafted Host header makes the port 443 front end route requests to the /cfg web application and diagnostic endpoints normally exposed on port 8443. Network access to port 443 is sufficient, and diagnostic endpoints are reachable without authentication, exposing restricted internal service functionality.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
