Arbitrary memory write via repeated RTSP receives
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Heap-based buffer overflow in pushMuxer on Anker Innovations eufy HomeBase 2 2.1.6.9h allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via RTSP. processRtspInfo fills its 0x800-byte receive buffer when an RTSP request lacks the terminating delimiter, then receives another full buffer at the advanced pointer and overwrites the next session. No authentication or user action is required; the overwritten read pointer permits an attacker-chosen write address.
