Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.23 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash the server. The Server Optimizer mishandles an undisclosed input received through the MySQL protocol; Oracle has not published the faulty operation or input form. Exploitation requires a highly privileged database account and interrupts availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
