Authenticated SQL injection via prod_filter parameter
Published Dec 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Advantech R-SeeNet 2.4.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via a crafted HTTP request to the device_list page. The prod_filter value is stored in a session and concatenated into a SQL fragment passed to stored procedures, where escaping is lost before PREPARE executes the statement. Any authenticated account, or a victim induced to submit a cross-site request, can trigger the flaw; the documented vector gives confidentiality impact without integrity or availability impact.
