Database disclosure via concatenated ord parameter
Published Dec 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Advantech R-SeeNet 2.4.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the ord parameter. company_list.php stores ord in the session, escapes it, then concatenates it into an ORDER BY fragment passed through sp_GetCompanies, whose dynamically prepared SQL executes the value without parameter binding. Direct exploitation requires a super-administrator session; lower-privileged access depends on cross-site request forgery against such a session, and the published impact is database confidentiality.
