CVE-2021-21918Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via concatenated name filter

Published Dec 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

SQL injection in Advantech R-SeeNet 2.4.15 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the company name filter. company_list.php URL-decodes name_filter into session state, concatenates its escaped value into a stored-procedure call, and sp_GetCompanies then incorporates the supplied fragment into a dynamically prepared statement without parameter binding. The demonstrated request uses a session cookie; exploitation without CSRF requires a super-administrator account, and the bounded impact is database disclosure.
