Code execution via undersized JPEG 2000 heap buffer

Heap-based buffer overflow in DecoderStream::Append in Accusoft ImageGear 19.10 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted JPEG 2000 file. The routine adds 0x1c to a file-controlled size without overflow checking, allocates the wrapped size, then copies the requested data into the undersized heap buffer. Exploitation requires an application built with the affected SDK to process attacker-supplied JPEG 2000 content and can corrupt a function-pointer-bearing heap object.
