Data disclosure and modification via undisclosed Analytics Actions
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Access control failure in Oracle BI EE Analytics Actions 5.5.0.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter data. The affected component accepts an authenticated HTTP action, but Oracle has not disclosed the faulty operation or input that defeats its access controls. Exploitation requires low-privileged credentials and another person's interaction, and it permits reading a subset of data and updating, inserting, or deleting some accessible data.
