Unauthenticated code execution via oversized UDP copy

Stack-based buffer overflow in Garrett Metal Detectors iC Module CMA 5.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted UDP packets. The check_udp_crc function copies up to 512 bytes from udp_thread into a 256-byte stack buffer with memcpy using the packet length. The unauthenticated discovery service on UDP port 6877 accepts the packet, allowing program-counter control or a CMA process crash.
