Root command execution via unvalidated keypasswd

OS command injection in Lantronix PremierWave 2050 8.9.0.0R4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary root commands. The Web Manager /ssl handler inserts the unvalidated keypasswd POST value into an openssl ec command string and passes it to system(). High-privileged Web Manager credentials are required; successful exploitation yields root-level command execution on the gateway.
