Heap-based buffer overflow in the pcrb MPEG-4 atom decoder in GPAC Project GPAC 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted files. The pcrb_box_read function multiplies an untrusted 32-bit subsegment count by sizeof(u64) without overflow validation, allocates the wrapped size, then writes parsed values beyond that heap buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction; the documented proof of concept uses a 32-bit build and demonstrates memory corruption leading to code execution.
