Data exposure and modification via unescaped HTML
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Oracle iStore Shopping Cart 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.10 allows remote attackers to read or alter data. The personal-information update JSP incorporates untrusted request input into HTML output without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated HTTP request and interaction by another person, and it grants access to critical data plus limited ability to update, insert, or delete application data.
