Published Jul 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Advantech R-SeeNet 2.4.12 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The device_graph_page.php script copies the device_id query parameter into an img element without sanitization or contextual encoding. No login is required, but a victim must visit the crafted URL; execution occurs within the targeted browser's R-SeeNet origin.
