CVE-2021-21792Public exploit

Kernel information disclosure via exposed I/O read

Published Aug 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Information disclosure in IObit Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 14.2.0.220 allows local users to read four bytes of device data. The Monitor_win10_x64.sys handler exposes \Device\IOBIT_WinRing0_1_3_0 to everyone and passes a caller-supplied port to the IN instruction for IOCTL 0x9c4060d4. Low-privileged local access is sufficient to read PCI-device data through the kernel driver; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
