CVE-2021-21741Network attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsafe deserialization

Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Deserialization in ZTE ZXV10 M910 firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a network service. The soapmonitor Java object service listens on port 5001 by default and deserializes an attacker-supplied payload that reaches command execution. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the appliance.
