CVE-2021-21736Network attack vector

Remote camera control via stale sharing permissions

Published Jun 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper access control in ZTE ZXHN HS562 V1.0.0.0B2.0000 and V1.0.0.0B3.0000 allows remote authenticated users to control cameras. The cloud-end app fails to invalidate camera-control authorization when an owner revokes a recipient's sharing permission. A previously authorized recipient retains remote control, including restarting the device or restoring its factory settings.
