Credential ID disclosure via unchecked HTTP endpoint
Published May 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Xray - Test Management for Jira Plugin 2.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate credential IDs. An HTTP endpoint returns identifiers for credentials stored in Jenkins without checking the appropriate permission; Jenkins has not published the endpoint or method name. Overall/Read permission is required, and the disclosed identifiers enable credential capture only when combined with another vulnerability.
