Provisioning error disclosure via unchecked activity endpoint
Published Mar 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in the Cloud Statistics Plugin 0.26 and earlier from Jenkins Project allows remote authenticated users to read provisioning errors. The CloudStatistics Stapler target exposed nested activity attachments without enforcing getRequiredPermission before routing each request. Overall/Read permission and knowledge of a random activity ID are required; the reported impact is limited to disclosure of related provisioning exception messages.
