Command injection in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.x through 9.1.1.x allows local compadmin users to elevate privileges on affected clusters. A OneFS operation fails to neutralize special elements before incorporating compadmin-controlled input into an OS command, but Dell does not identify the operation. Only SmartLock WORM compliance-mode clusters are affected; successful exploitation permits privileged command effects that can alter integrity or interrupt service.
