Victim-browser script execution via crafted link
Published Aug 3, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Dell EMC iDRAC9 before 5.00.00.00 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser through a crafted link. Dell has not published the affected request handler, input field, or missing neutralization operation that permits the crafted link to generate executable page content. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the link, after which attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript executes in that browser; the vendor records integrity impact without confidentiality or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
