Arbitrary code execution via recovery image overflow

Buffer overflow in Dell BIOSConnect before Gen 11, Gen 10 allows local users to run arbitrary code via crafted recovery content. The overflow occurs while BIOSConnect processes downloaded OS-recovery or firmware-update data in the pre-boot environment. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator with local access and a physically present user invoking BIOSConnect; successful code execution can bypass UEFI restrictions and control boot-time code.
