Weak password encryption in Dell PowerEdge VRTX Switch Module firmware before 2.0.0.82 allows remote attackers to disclose user credentials. Dell has not published the affected credential-storage locus, encryption scheme, or the operation that inadequately protects passwords. Exploitation requires unauthenticated access from an adjacent network and exposes credentials usable with the compromised account's privileges.
