Authenticated OS command execution via crafted JSP dashboard
Published Mar 9, 2021 · Updated May 5, 2025
Code injection in affected SAP MII 15.1 through 15.4 builds allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The SSCE Catalog endpoint relies on client-side validation and stores a crafted dashboard request as executable server-side JSP. SAP_XMII Developer access is sufficient; the resulting code can read, modify, or delete server files and fully compromise the host.
