CVE-2021-21468Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via unchecked RFC function module

Published Jan 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Missing authorization in SAP Business Warehouse allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database tables through RFC. The RSDL_DB_GET_DATA_BWS function module performs native SQL reads through ADBC without an explicit authorization check, accepting parameters that select database connections, tables, and fields. A low-privileged SAP account with RFC access can retrieve cross-client data, including user password hashes and secure-storage records; no write or availability impact is reported.
