Authenticated system compromise via native SQL injection
Published Jan 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in SAP Business Warehouse Database Interface allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary database commands over RFC. The remotely enabled RSDL_DB_GET_DATA_BWS function passes unvalidated import parameters defining conditional statements into native ADBC SQL execution. Low-privileged SAP credentials and RFC reachability are required; exploitation can read or alter database data and fully compromise the SAP system.
