Application crash via malformed RLE file

Improper input validation in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer before 9 allows remote attackers to crash the application with a crafted RLE file. The RLE import path processes malformed file data without adequate validation, causing the viewer process to terminate. A user must open the untrusted file; the outage lasts until the application is restarted, with no vendor-reported data disclosure or modification.
