Information disclosure via crafted email rendering
Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in OTRS 7.0.0 through 7.0.26 allows remote attackers to disclose information through a crafted email. The ticket overview renderer fails to neutralize script-capable email content before generating the page, causing the payload to execute when the overview is displayed. Sending the email requires no authentication or user interaction; ((OTRS)) Community Edition 6.0.1 and later releases in the 6.0.x line are also affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
