Unauthenticated command execution via scheduler YAML write
Published Apr 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in GetGrav Grav Admin Plugin 1.10.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands via the admin interface. The administrator controller accepts unauthenticated SaveDefault requests for scheduler configuration, persisting attacker-supplied job data in YAML for scheduler execution. Network access to the admin route is sufficient; exploitation can alter site content, take over an administrator account, or run commands as the web-server user.
