Improper certificate validation in Nimble before 1.2.10 and 1.4.0 through 1.4.3 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to alter package lists. During nimble refresh, the default httpClient creates an SSL/TLS context with verifyMode set to CVerifyNone, accepting an untrusted certificate. Network interception is required; subsequent installation and use of a listed malicious package executes untrusted code on the client.
