Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped CSV cells
Published Feb 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSV injection in PrestaShop 1.5.0 through 1.7.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to embed formulas in exported search data. ModuleGraph::csvExport appends search legends and other nonnumeric cell values directly to semicolon-delimited output without neutralizing leading formula characters. Back-office access is required to export the CSV, and formula execution occurs only when the file is opened in a formula-aware spreadsheet.
