Privacy video leak via stale capture state
Published Feb 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information exposure in Wire for iOS before 3.75 allows remote authenticated users to stream camera video after disabling it in a call. SelfVideoPreviewView failed to update AVS capture when the self video stream changed to a stopped state, so capture continued after the user disabled video. The issue requires a video call and an enabled-then-disabled camera sequence; impact is unintended disclosure of live camera content to call participants.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
