CVE-2021-21263Network attack vector

Unexpected query results via array bindings

Published Jan 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper input neutralization in Laravel Framework before 6.20.11, 7.30.2, or 8.22.1 allows remote attackers to alter query results. The query builder accepts an array where a scalar request field is expected, adding an unexpected number of database bindings. Exploitation requires an application to pass unvalidated or uncast request data into query construction; effects range from empty results to unexpected records, without evidence of arbitrary code execution.
