Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome on iOS before 89.0.4389.72 allows attackers to bypass navigation restrictions via a QR code. Google has not publicly disclosed which QR-scanner code path fails to enforce the navigation policy or how crafted content bypasses it. Exploitation requires a user to scan the attacker’s QR code, after which Chrome can navigate to a destination that its policy should block.
