Process-memory disclosure via Autofill policy bypass
Published Mar 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Insufficient Autofill policy enforcement in Google Chrome before 89.0.4389.72 allows remote attackers to read process-memory data via HTML. Google identifies the locus as Autofill but has not published which policy check is missing or how crafted page content reaches process memory. A user must open the page; the documented result is confidentiality loss without reported data modification or service interruption.
