Code execution via out-of-bounds buffer write
Published Mar 12, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Memory corruption in Adobe Animate 21.0.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by inducing a user to open a malicious file. Animate writes beyond a memory buffer while processing the file; Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or malformed field. Execution requires user interaction and runs with the current user's privileges, so a successful exploit can access or alter data available to that account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
